The cryptic Surrealist paintings of the twentieth century Belgian artist Paul Delvaux a flock of young women in pale turn of the century gowns walking with portraits of Marie Antoinette. The models arrived in the latest Maria Barros designs made a dramatic impact when they took to the catwalk at Madrid Fashion Week. The silver haired foxes were certainly tresses to impress as they sashayed down the runway in Barros’s autumn winter collection in the Spanish city. The grey wigs and simple makeup appear to represent a new creative on the runway of Barros. She revealed her 2012-2013 collection. Designer play with wool and silk in neutral colours with shades of black, white, grey gave way to greens and burgundy with some featuring a splash of gold.
