Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2011




India’s most popular fashion event Lakme Fashion Week was held on 11th to 15th March’11 at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai. As the previous Lakme Fashion event s many bollywood celebrities came in LFW Summer / Resort 2011 to promote their favorite designers. Every year Lakme Fashion Week is organized twice a year.  Bollywood celebrities were present with all its glamour and shine in LFW Summer  Resort 2011. First day designer Anamika Khanna showed her creative work, second day Arpan Vohra, parvesh jai showed their latest collection.

Geeta Basara bollywood actress walked on ramp to display a creation designed by Chaitanya Rao on the first day of the Lakme Fashion Week Summer Resort 2011. But Riya Sen had worn eye catching dress who walked on the ramp in white dress for Indian fashion designer Arpan Vohra.  Some other bollywood celebrities who attend the Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2011 were Tusshar Kapoor and Preeti Desai.

Tulisa Contostavlos lead the charge of over the top glamour at the National Television Awards in London. The star stole the spotlight on the red carpet in a hot pink feathered number. She was sporting a deep tan, possibly leftover from her recent holiday in the Maldives, set off by her shiny silver heels. The 23 year old singer ensured plenty of cleavage was on show in her corseted dress, which featured a lace up back. The models arrived in the latest Maria Barros designs made a dramatic impact when they took to the catwalk at Madrid Fashion Week. The silver haired foxes were certainly tresses to impress as they sashayed down the runway in Barros’s autumn winter collection in the Spanish city. The grey wigs and simple makeup appear to represent a new creative on the runway of Barros. She revealed her 2012-2013 collection. Designer play with wool and silk in neutral colours with shades of black, white, grey gave way to greens and burgundy with some featuring a splash of gold.
