AFRICA FASHION WEEK NEW YORK 2011 
Fashion week is more important for latest collection because many designers presented their collection on the runway. Latest fashion week in African Fashion Week New York in African designer spirited their collection. These collections had no intention of being ignored with the opening dress of a Maasai print outwears. These collections are short, bold and brazen. Blending bold was different sized plaids, flirty plaid high skirts and Chunky wool sweaters a collection together. Men collection in men wear element too was triumphant in appeal. They presented the bold sport coats, bold jackets with tailored men’s pants. The bold prints dress was in many colors.

Ann Mc Creath showed a cohesive collection and a great respect for the ready to wear market. Kitenge printed men’s jackets with Maasai plaid print pants. The ninja wool vest sport coat paired with Kitenge print pants. Women’s bold plaid cropped blazers paired with sari Kitenge print pants was indication that these collection are certainly not intended for the wallflower. This is brazen and most important. Never has an African inspired contemporary collection so risky yet left an indelible impression. This is a collection that deserves its rightful place in fashion week. In the runway the Nigerian based design creates popular, edgy, innovative and ethnic pieces.

Kachi collection brings life and sophistication to any wardrobe. Gloria Wavamunno also created the creative direction of Ugandan based designer. The designer draws her collection from globally through culture, colors with music. There are many designer presented her collection at the Africa Fashion week 2011.

Tulisa Contostavlos lead the charge of over the top glamour at the National Television Awards in London. The star stole the spotlight on the red carpet in a hot pink feathered number. The models arrived in the latest Maria Barros designs made a dramatic impact when they took to the catwalk at Madrid Fashion Week. The silver haired foxes were certainly tresses to impress as they sashayed down the runway in Barros’s autumn winter collection in the Spanish city. The grey wigs and simple makeup appear to represent a new creative on the runway of Barros. She revealed her 2012-2013 collection.
