London Fashion Week – Day 4


Fashion week is a good place for designer’s latest collections. They always show their latest and interesting collection for every season. We talk about London fashion week. The fashion week started with high energy prints and exotic themes. The design duo pulled a top collection out of their very stylish hat inspired by a trip abroad. The collection was based on Indonesia. The hypnotic prints held everyone’s attention as well as the new silhouettes.

We saw sportswear and scuba once again with the eye catching bold colours. Kanye West made an appearance at Christopher Kane, despite having his own Paris Fashion Week collection with editors Anna Wintour and Emmanuelle Alt. The patterns were the same but it was a little more laid back. Patchwork colour and an air of grunge managed to somehow combine into feminine elegance. Erdem showed his collection at the Savoy.

Florals were the big theme and with intricate use of sequins and lace. Erdem managed yet another pretty collection with pale blue the afternoon garden of stunning flowers soon turned to yellows and nudes. Mark Fast it began with nudes and sand tones before giving us a wakeup call with energetic and bold colours with block black. This collection was no different adding volume and shape where it is not thought possible.

Tulisa Contostavlos lead the charge of over the top glamour at the National Television Awards in London. The star stole the spotlight on the red carpet in a hot pink feathered number. She was sporting a deep tan, possibly leftover from her recent holiday in the Maldives, set off by her shiny silver heels. The 23 year old singer ensured plenty of cleavage was on show in her corseted dress, which featured a lace up back. The models arrived in the latest Maria Barros designs made a dramatic impact when they took to the catwalk at Madrid Fashion Week. The silver haired foxes were certainly tresses to impress as they sashayed down the runway in Barros’s autumn winter collection in the Spanish city. The grey wigs and simple makeup appear to represent a new creative on the runway of Barros. She revealed her 2012-2013 collection. Designer play with wool and silk in neutral colours with shades of black, white, grey gave way to greens and burgundy with some featuring a splash of gold.
